English 4 Kids Camp 2010

Monday, July 26th, 2010

On the first day at 9:oo o`clock we came to the camp and checked in. All the kids went into the homework room and sat down. Irena told us the camp rules and showed us the teachers. The teacher of Class 4 was Liz. We went with her to our classroom in the big building. Liz made two groups of children and started to teach us. We had to stay in the classrooms til half past twelve o`clock. Then we had lasagne for lunch. In the afternoon we played games outside. First we played baseball and then we played cricket. It was very funny. After the sports activities we had an afternoon snack. At half past five our parents came to take us home.
The next days were like the first day.
At the end of the week all the kids were tired from the camp but all people enjoyed an loved it. It was very funny.

We think here it is funny but we think that maybe more classes can be in the bighouse. The camp is funny and in mid morning we learn something and in the afternoon we have games e.g. kickball, volleyball, basketball and cricket.
The teachers are great and the food is good. Everday a list hangs on the pinboard and on the list stands what we have to do and when we have the meals.
After sports there is a break were we can go to the cantine to get somthing to eat.
There is a staffroom where you can find the teachers. The homework lessons are funny and the lessons are ok.
We hope when you read this you will come to visit this camp.

The first day of the camp was super because we were alone with our class, and we were alone in the big house.
Our teacher Liz is the best teacher because she doesn’t give us so much homework and on the Friday we had no homework.
In the afternoon we had to learn about english grammar.
After the meal we  played a lot of sports e.g. kickball, american football, volleyball, lacrosse, baseball…
they have a huge soccer field. In the breaks you are allowed to go the huge field and play soccer or volleyball.

The Enlish-camp in Kalksburg is very funny. You learn a lot here. The teachers are very nice and you find friends fast! At half past one you eat lunch. The meal in the restaurant is good. Every day after the lunch you have a break. Then you can play sport games like football, basketball, volleyball, cricket or lacross. This is real fun!

The summer camp 2010

Friday, July 23rd, 2010

On my first day, I was not nervous, but when I came into the class there were only boys  inside.  So I had no good feelings.  I came at the second week to the english-camp, because the first week I was on holiday. I was very lucky when I saw some girls, coming into the calss. When we did some warm ups, I got to know Sandra. We made good friends. We did everything together. It was a cool week. We also played volley-ball with the boys. We were five boys and five girls in the class. During the year Sandra and I were staying in contact. We also met and went swimming.

So the year was gone and the new begun.

2010 I have come for all the two weeks of the english-camp.
But this year we were only five kids in the class, two boys and three girls.
On Monday, Wednesday and Friday Sandra, Lukas and I went climbing. It was always funny and it made me laugh to climb.
On the afternoons all the children, which were at the camp played cricket, football, baseball or baked something. ( For example donuts).
One week is now finished and I hope that the following week will be also so cool.

In my second year I was not so nervous because I knew a lot more English,  and also the teahcer and some children.
In my 3rd year I was also not nervous because I know it all. My teacher is Jon and he is very nice. I like Jon very much. I like the food in Kalksburg, it is not so bad. I like the sports at the afternoon very much.

The english camp 2010 (Kalksburg)

Friday, July 23rd, 2010

I am here the third year again at the camp. The camp is very cool because the teachers are nice and kind, the food is also very good and the sport activities are great! You can learn English here very well because the groups are not so big and you can really learn something! The sport in the afternoon is great, you can play baseball, basketball, lacrosse, football and more. I think it´s good to be two weeks in an English camp because it´s fun and you learn English!
