English For Kids®

This is the last year that I’m able to visit the english camp. Now I’m in the highest class and we’re making a movie about the camp. We had to interview some of the teachers and doing the news.

Hi kids,

Thank you for your nice comments about the camp so far. I am really happy that you all enjoy it so much and have fun but also learn a lot. You may need it in September, LOL.

We spy with our little eyes….and that´s what we would like to tell you:

It´s been a pleasure to have you at the camp – what I find great is that it seems that all 65 kids like each other – you  do not argue with each other, the atmosphere in class, in the homework room and during the sports activities is really good, your level of English is amazing and I can see that you enjoy what you are doing.

I can hardly wait to see the film production this coming Friday…and the Golden Globe Award 2009 that will go to….????? Let´s see.

Hello everybody.

I am in the e4kids camp for the first time and I think it is very great. The best thing on this camp is that we are gonna make a movie about this two weeks. I think that these two weeks of speaking english are very good to learn speaking so that you can use it in your life.

So everything is sausage!!!

the e4kids camp is really lots of fun.

In the morning we learn english in class and in the afternoon we do sports.

Everyday there is a different sport. You can choose between baseball, lacrosse, cricket and other ballgames.

When it is very hot we play funny games with water and water bombs.That is alwys a lot of fun.

My favourite game is, beside the water games, baseball. You have to hit a ball and then you run and touch the bases. If you touched all four bases, you have a homerun. But if somebody catches the ball, you have to stay at your base and wait, till the next person hits the ball.

I think you should really come to the e4kids camp!

The camp is very nice and you learn a lot here. In the afternoon we play a lot of sports and we always speak english. The teachers always speak English and I think that is very good. I realy like the english sports. My favourite sport is cricket. It is very nice. It is like baseball. You have to hit a ball and then you have to run. The garden is very big and every break you can go outside. Often we play football. This year we make a film which we show at the last day in the camp.

Yesterday I came in Kalksburg and checked in.

I thought it would not be good in this camp and then it was OK for me.

We got to know our Teacher. His name is Jon.

I also had 4 lessons every day.

We learned about England, Austria and differents flag.

I ate meat with rice and a fruits salad for lunch.

After lunch Mike played with me, Basketball and Football.

One hour later we played lacrosse, it was a funny game!

But a Bumble bee stung a girl in her feet.

We had a great fun.

At break we ate Prezel.

All of the children waited for their parents.

I tell you ,all of the teachers we met were funny and very cool.

At 5 o’ clock my father picks me up.

This all was yesterday!

On monday afternoon we met our teachers in the e4kids camp. The teachers are very funny. We were able to go climbing. The climing teacher was funny and at first we ran rounds . Then we made 2 teams and we had to climb a band. After we climbed again. It was very funny.

We often play lacrosse with Gwen. She is very funny … she played on our team. We had a lot of sticks and a ball. We must put the ball into a goal (we must score many goals)It was very funny.

On the first day we played baseball with our teacher David. David explained to us the rules.

Here are the rules for you.

Baseball:

Baseball is a very funny game. There are two teams with batters and pitchers.

The batters are hitting the ball with the bat and the pitchers are throwing the ball to the batter.

When the batter hits the ball he must run from base to base. When a player catches the ball and the batter is

not at a base he is out.

The better team is winning.

ABOUT OUR TEACHER!!!

The teachers are very nice ,they are all from different countries so we learn a lot about their countries from them.

Our teacher is from England so we learn about England ,but we also learn about the whole six flag saloon. In the morning we have English. During our English lesson Jon,our teacher sings terribly so we are happy when he finishes. Our second teacher Gwen is very nice.

ABOUT OUR ACTIVITIES!!

In the morning we have english lessons. At 12:30 we have lunch. Every day the food is very good so we are fit for the afternoon activities. In the afternoon we play outdoor games,then we have a special sport. But no austrain sports,we play ckricket,american football,soccer,lacrosse and much moore!!

ABOUT OUR FRIENDS!!

Everybody finds friends. At the camp there are many children in every year.

THE CAMP IS SUCH FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our teachers are very nice!!!!!!!!! They come from the USA, Canada, England, Australia and one teacher is from Austria. Our teacher this year is JON. He is very good at singing (HIHI). In the homework room there are GWEN^^, DAVID and JOE.

We (Nina and Clara) have a friend. She is really nice and intelligent. Sometimes we have a fight but soon we like each other again.

In the afternoon we play many games like Baseball. After the games we have a afternoon snack. Before we play the games we have lunch. The food is very good. We like the E4Kids camp very much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
