Hi,

I have been to this camp for the second time now and it’s quite cool. Somebody will say, “I don’t like school. Why should I pay money to spend my holidays with lessons?” That’s not true. The lessons are a lot of fun. Teachers are pretty awesome in general, but Darina in particular. I also like Gwen and David very much, though.

The afternoon activities are nice. American Football, Soccer and Baseball are great fun, but sometimes you can’t choose what sports you do. That’s not as cool, but it’s not too bad either. In the evening you can relax by playing Table tennis or Squash at the Leisure Area.

The food is very varied. It is very good and made for kids. If you come here you will eat the food which you know. So you don´t have to bring a huge suitcase with sweets in case you´don´t like the food.  Some dishes are:                   

• Wiener Schnitzel
• Kaiserschmarrn
• Fish and Chips
• Mohnnudeln
• Potato Salad
• Sausage Salad
• “Barbecue”
• Käsespätzle
• Spaghetti
• Goulash
• Lasagne’s

There is also an extra dish for the vegetarians every day. At breakfast you can choose if you want to eat cornflakes or bread with butter, nutella, marmalade or honey. For drinking you can choose between coffee, coco and different sorts of tea.

At supper you also have warm dishes.

You are allowed to get something to drink in every break/free time. You can choose between juice and water.

We have done many sports.

Lacrosse is one of these sports. Lacrosse is a team sport played using a solid rubber ball and long racket called a crosse or lacrosse stick.

But you can play American football, too. American football is a competitive team sport known for mixing strategy with physical play. You have to throw the ball from team member to team member. When you can throw the ball to an other player of your team who is standing in the end zone of the opposing team you get a point.

If you want to play Gaelic fooball you need a normal football, 30 players and two H-shaped goals.
Gaelic football is played by teams of 15 on a rectangular grass pitch with H-shaped goals at the end. The main object is to score by kicking or striking the ball with the hand and getting it through the goals. The team with the highest score at the end of the match wins.

Baseball is a bat-and-ball sport played between two teams of nine players. The goal of baseball is to score runs by hitting a thrown ball with a bat and touching a series of four bases. Players on one team (the batting team) take turns hitting while the other team (the fielding team) tries to stop them from scoring runs by getting hitters out in more than one way. The teams switch between batting and fielding whenever the fielding team gets three outs. The team with the most runs at the end of the game wins.

the teachers are very nice

i (bea) take the cap from david  ( jonny the depp) all the time.

darina is very nice we can speak with her most of  all.  WE LOVE HER

gwen is very nice too. She makes  jokes or she does funny things all the time

irena the chief has a really cool car (it is a sportscar!!! But i don´t know the name of  the car)

so you know the teachers are very nice and make many jokes and everybody has fun with them

We have some funny days in the evening. we had a disco or something like the Hobo fashion show or blind date.

The Hobo fashion show was very great because you had to dress yourself up like a Hobo. The teacher with the coolest clothes was dave because he had a potato sack with the words: “made by EdHobo” like EdHardy.

 and i’m in this camp now…it is so funny … after the breakfast we have two english lessons and two homework lessons. then we have lunch and then sports with ‘johonny the depp,sir’ (david) ….we play games, for example cricket, baseball, gaelic football, and lacrosse. then at six o’clock we have dinner and then we can sometimes do what we want like bowling this is really cool but the big boss lady closed it because some of the people (not I) went into the alley and messed it up…. it doesn’t matter the camp is cool … come here next year  and you can see it =)

SCHOOL

At first after breakfast you’re going into your class. It´s very funny because all the teachers are very, very nice and so cool. The teachers are all native speakers so you HAVE to talk English with them. So you learn quite a lot about the English language. In each grade you learn about another country specific things like the typical Irish food and so on. You also repeat what you learned the last school year and learn something you need the next year in English. It´s not a strict kind of school, so just have fun with the teachers.

ACTIVITIES

After the lunch have break till 2 o´clock p.m. because then the activities start. Activities means you play baseball or rugby^^ (my personal favourite) and other sports. There are also some indoor activities like bowling or pool. This is all very nice and funny.

LEISURETIME

You have a break after each meal. After the dinner you have the biggest break during that you can go into the leisure area and play table tennis, pool or squash……

You could also meet your friends and talk about the day or something else. If you have some DVDs or a video casettte you ask “the big boss” (means Irena) and if she allows you to watch it you go into the telvision room and watch it.

I am here at the e4kids-camp and I can only say: IT IS SOOOOOOOOO GREAT!!!! I am here the third time and I have  enjoyed it every time. I met some new friend ( MELI, André, Polak, Bing bong, Maniflumm) . But also the Native speekers are very nice and friendly!!! First I thought it is diffecult to understand them but it isn’t!!! 

Also sport is great and of course the breaks !!!! School is easy and very funny. The homework could be less, but if you help together you can manage it.

 All in all it is simply great and it is never borring. I can tell everybody to come here because you have so much fun and if you don’t come you will really really miss something.

My name is Melanie and i have been to the camp every year and it´s pretty cool ^^

The teachers are very great ! But sometimes they are stupid, but only sometimes.  This is the 5th time that i´m here and it´s better from year to year. The first time we are so NICE and LOVELY but now i won´t write this ^^ NOBODY, really NOBODY make so much silly things. …but one tip don´t let them get you =)

I´m very happy when i see all my friends again =)))André´, Michi, Manni, Martin, Flo and for sure christine and lisa……I can write so many things  about these cool people..I like them so much =))))                                                                                                                                                                              

So I tell you something, because it´s you…

I said that we made so many silly things and i´ll  tell you something…., Anna,Maria and I take an o.b, you must know that the boys were under our room …okay we take the o.b and put it in the red tea ^^ and throw it through our the windows into the boys room.

but this is a secret OKAY ??

 The camp was really funny and our teacher Jon was very nice. His favourite word in German was “gusch” or “hoid die goschen”^^  We learned a lot from him and I think I will never forgot him.  But also the other native speakers were cool.

After lunch we did sport for 3 hours with one 30minutes break. There we played sports for instance baseball, circket, gaelic football, american football or lacrosse. My favourite sport was baseball and american football. I have played sports that I have not played before.

Later we had dinner and then we could do all what we like or we had an evenig program. On one evening we had a disco it was really funny. At 22:00 am we had to stay in our room but nobody did it.

I have found a lots of friends and I think I will come next year again =)

It is my second time at the camp and every year it will be better. We have a lot fun, the weather is perfect and the teachers are great.=) In the morning we have school and after lunch we have sport activities! We played a lot of games from England and the United States. For example: American Football, Baseball, Gaelic Football, Cricket,Rugby and Lacrosse.

When I thought back to the English Camp first I remember the teacher John! He is the funniest man I have ever seen. He makes a lot of jokes on the kids and laughs a lot. Also he is our teacher and we have learned a lot with him. We learned how to apply for a job in English. We had to write a C.V. and a Coverletter. That was very interesting. This week he turned 30 years old. He said he is not very happy about that, but he cannot change it. I am sure I will come again next year to the Camp, because it is one week fun and now I am fluent in English.

I think that the camp is very nice because you do not only learn english you also can play sports like cricket or baseball which are alot of fun. The teachers are also very nice. Our teacher Jon is very nice and is also very funny, so the lessons are fun. We met new friends and in the break you also can play whatever you want. Baseball, Football, Creaket and many more things. The food is ok. I  think that the camp is very funny and cool.

This is my 5th year at this camp and i am not lying when i say that it will be better every year…..the teachers are really great….also the programm we do every day is funny and also we learn a lot….it is perfect. It is really cool with the other studens here….we could run out on the meddow at midnight and scream and shout and dance and…………no,no it was a joke;-) But it is really cool …come and enjoy it

Our names are Manuel and Martin and we’ re the m&m’ s!

Our favourite game is rugby because it’s very violent and so it’s the perfect game for us, but the other games are also good. For example baseball and lacross! We must speak English every day but it´s not a problem for us. The food is very good and the teachers are very nice to us. We found a lot of friends and our teacher Jon is very cool. The E-Camp is sooooooooooooooooooooo great.

The camp

The camp is a real fun and ´´ all´´ the childern are nice .  I´m at the camp the 3rd time and i´ve found  many nice people to talk to . But somtimes the camp isn´t  so fine as we would like it to be, like quarls or other unnice things. I´m always here at the camp with my friend Melanie she a real fun and I like her much.  What´s also not fine sometimes is the weather often it rains or it´s cold and rainy . The teachers are really nice to us and funny they aren´t very strict or bad to us . They are able to explain the exercises very good and they i think very good . I also like  the game hall you can play sqash, billiard, table tennis , bowling or use the internet and the climbing wall.  The afternoon activities are also funny and the evenings to.
